In the construction industry, steel structure factories have basically replaced traditional concrete factories. Countries around the world are recognizing and vigorously using and promoting steel structure factories, so the import and export of steel structure factories have also become quite mature. Since steel prices, processing technologies, and labor costs vary greatly between countries, for many countries, it is more cost-effective to import steel structure buildings and accessories.

For import and export steel structure workshops, installation and processing are separated. Coupled with long-distance transportation, if the steel structure components are unreasonably packaged, it is likely to cause deformation or damage of the components, thus affecting the installation of the steel structure factory building. So how to ensure the installation accuracy of steel structure factory buildings?

1. Ensure the processing accuracy and transportation control of steel structure workshops. Installation is already the last step of the steel structure building. If you want to install it without any problem, of course, you must first ensure the accuracy of component size processing.

Then choosing a suitable experienced and professional processing factory is an important step. For example, accurately grasp the straightness and distortion of steel columns, the distance between the connecting holes of columns and beams to the column bottom plate, the processing accuracy of the connecting holes themselves, the straightness of roof beams and the processing accuracy of column-beam connecting plates, and the tie rods on beams and columns. Or the position and size of the support connecting plate relative to the beam and column itself, the position and size of the formwork plate, etc. Experienced processing plants can reasonably solve various problems in processing.

Secondly, after processing, that is transportation. Especially for export factories, they may undergo several transfers or guide boxes. If the packaging is unreasonable, it is difficult to avoid deformation of columns, beams and other components during transportation. Therefore, transportation, loading and unloading and other links must be strictly controlled to avoid deformation of components and affect the installation of steel structure factory buildings.

2. Quality control of the steel structure factory building installation process. Preparatory work must be done before the factory is installed to ensure that there are no mistakes during the installation process. Preparatory work includes: rechecking the number of steel components and retesting the components before hoisting; checking whether the components are deformed and scratched; testing whether the strength of the foundation concrete meets the specification requirements; testing the embedded bolts or cup openings of the foundation; checking whether there are any defects before installation. Safety hazards, etc.

3. After confirming the preparatory work before installation, ensure the correct order of installation. Select the part of the factory building with column supports, tie rods and roof supports to install first. After this part of the steel column is hoisted, the axis and elevation of the steel column must be re-measured first. After the deviation is corrected, the steel column is temporarily stabilized with cable wind ropes, and then the inter-column supports, roof beams and beam tie rods are installed. 4. For exported steel components, bolts are generally used for connection, so ensuring the quantity, quality, size, etc. of bolts is also a very important step. During the installation process of high-strength bolts on steel structures, the contact surface must be flat, and the contact area must be greater than 75%, and the edge gap must not be greater than 0.8 mm. High-strength bolts cannot be used as temporary installations, and bolts should be tightened in one direction. The bolts installed every day must complete the final tightening work and be inspected one by one to prevent leakage.

By achieving the above points, we can basically ensure the installation accuracy of the steel structure factory building, and there will be no major installation problems. Of course, problems discovered during the installation process must be resolved promptly to ensure the safety of the building.
